Help with LX

Mathews LX 61 lbs. with limbs bottomed out. Have put about 400 arrows thru it since I purchased new last week. Measured brace height and alxle to axle. Brace was 6 3/8" and A to A was 36" .Would I need to twist or un-twist buss cable or should I make adjustement to string. It feels about a 1/2" long so this would put me back right if I am assuming right that this adjustement will also shorten my draw length 1/2" when I shorten A to A by 1/2" and add 1/2" to brace. Don

RE: Help with LX

To shorten the draw some you can untwist the cables and or twist up the string. With Mathews bows, or most of them anyway this is the only way to make adjustments to the draw length. If it is still to short after twisting up the string and untwisting the cables you may need to get a new cam with a 1/2" shorter draw length. This is why Mathews sells cams in 1/2" sizes. Hope this helps some.

RE: Help with LX

Hey 5 shot, When they say draw length specfic, they really mean it. I tried to twist my string and lost about 5 lbs. of draw weight. I put the string back and un-twisted the buss cable and lost 5 lbs. I was tring to get the brace to 6 5/8" and the a to a at 35 3/4" . It' s still at 6 3/8" and 35 7/8" so a call to Mathews is next[:' (]. Don
