Another vote for Muzzy 100 Grain 3 Blade. Followed closely by 100 Grain Thunderheads.

Im stuck on the Rage 2 blade. I have never been a big fan of mechanicals, but it has been a devastating broadhead ever since I switched to it. I really love the fact that it flies "identical" to my field points. Never a need to shift the sight pin left or right to compensate broadhead difference. It's very forgiving for anyone who does not have a correctly tuned bow. If you're flinging arrows from a slightly out of tuned bow, your fixed blades will not travel the exact path as field points (commonly a few inches left or right). The Rage is identical to the field point though and imitates the flight to a "T". That's not to say you shouldn't get the bow tuned into precision, it's just to say that if you aren't able to do it just yet the Rage will help you preach what you have been practicing. Simple aerodynamics happening here..... fixed blades are like wing "rudders". If your arrow is leaving the rest at the slightest offset, the extended blades act like vanes themselves and somewhat alter the flight path. Thats why the Rage broadhead has simply been dead on at every distance I shoot from!!! Granted... It's not the most durable broadhead like the G5's and so on. It's pretty much a "one-timer" after launching from your bow, but it literally destroys whatever it hits, every single time. The lack of the durability is a small price to pay when you are bringing home your game. Just my .02 without starting a broadhead war. I see a Muzzy fanatic replying to my post very soon....lol. It's all good....

i will agree with Rocky77340 that Rage broadheads are a one shot deal they did not design them to be easy to raplace blades you are better of just buying new ones for the price of replacement blades and the headache of changing them it not worth it . i will say the do leave a big hole . but i believe that a fixed blade is better if you smack bone i liked my muzzy 3 and 4 blades and thunderheads.

Default Favorite Broadhead

The one you have confidence in. My choice would be Thunderheads been using them without a failure for about 12 yrs. Second choice if need be NAP shockwaves-spitfires.
