GKF Arrow trap rest?
Anyone use this? I currently use a Bodoodle bullet, but am thinking about trying the arrow trap. Is it quiet? Is it nice for the arrow not moving when you lay the bow across your lap while hunting? Does it shoot good?

RE: GKF Arrow trap rest?
I was in the shop when my Dealer was setting one up ,It shot well and was very quiet. It cleared like a launcher and held the arrow in the circle and was top loading.
The Dealer liked the fact it gave good clearence in a containment rest did not slow arrow or damage the fletching. I like fallaways now but if you want a containment I would get the Arrow Trap. |
RE: GKF Arrow trap rest?
If you don' t want to change from your Bodoodle Try a Dakota Arrow holder. Pge 45 in your Cabellas, works like a charm. I can turn the Bow upside down. sideways whatever and its ready to go. I recommend them Highly. As soon as you draw, the rubber pops out of the way for the shot. You' ll never know it,s there till you think you goofed and thought your arrow was on the ground. Then you' ll be glad you had it. Only needed a spare rubber once when stalking with a knocked arrow and it got caught on a bush. My fault. They were so cheap ordered six and haven' t needed one yet. http://dakotaarchery.com/

Jerseyhunter is correct, but actually, Bodoodle makes their own rubber band type arrow holder, which works basically the same way. If you contact you pro shop, they may have one. Bodoodle may sell them on line also, not sure.
