Fred Bear "Charge" or "Strike" opinions.

I am in the market for a new bow and the Fred Bear Compound bows caught my eye. I have read many reviews stating the new line of Fred Bear bows are excellent. I held the "Charge" and it really felt good and drew back smooth. I didnt get a chance to hold the "Strike" so I will have to hold one before I make my decision. The difference I saw between the two is the Strike (higher priced) has two arc string suppressors and higher IBO speed. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

My buddy got a Charge this past summe. I too was impressed with this bow despite the cost. However there was a lot of vibration. If you get the Charge, be sure to invest in some Simms products to dampen it down.

Look at the Quest Hammer. About $100 more than the Charge but no vibe and a bit faster. The Charge is a great value but you will need to add some stuff to it. No hands on with the Strike. Quest bows are very under rated.

I will have to check out the Quest when I go to BPS. The Bear Charge is lacking in accessories but the Strike has a bit more to offer but priced more.

I had the strike, hunted with it this past season, nice bow, shoots good, I got the rth package, the sight and quiver could be better but ok for starting out. Only gripe I had about that bow was the strings would pass by the suppessor arms, more often than Ide like. Also.. just the other day one of my limbs started to come apart (cracked on top like the layers were seperating). Maybe I just got a bad one, it was warrentied out, and I upgraded my bow to a hoyt. Ide also check all the allens on the bow when you get it home, they are shipped put together, and a few of mine were loose.
