DEFFINATELY!!!!!!!!!
The fingers are the weekest part of the arm.
What a release does is take the tension off the fingers and esentially puts it on the rest of your arm and back. The biggest part of a release is not actually pulling it back, but it' s the holding the bow at full draw. Not fun with your fingers. With a release (for me anyway) you can relax your hands and not think about lettign the string go and just concentrate on the target, and not holding on for " deer" life. Bad Pun, sorry!!!
My $0.02

I shoot a Tru-Fire Hurricane Caliper release. I like it and it is very comfortable when at full draw. I' ve never shot a glove release, but i' ve heard that some of those are very comfortable too. Go to a pro shop, take your bow and try some releases, I think you' ll be very suprised.
Good luck out there,
