what arrows should i be using?
i know theres a lot of good products out there, but some opinions on the best arrows for me would be appreciated.
i shoot a bowtech admiral, 29 in. draw, 72 lb pull. i want a good hunting arrow thats gonna get the most speed out of my bow.. |
Some of us wouldn't know
we're still using slow, aluminum arrows on our bows that don't cost $900.

Just take some planning. Make sure you shoot at least 350gr. I myself feel easton ACC's and maximas are about the best coming out.

Something with a spine rating of .300". Pick something. There are tons of good arrows on the market. If you have a local shop then go see what is there. You want to be able to get arrows when you need them so see what he has.

i like my arrows now. theyre easton 340 fmj's. only problem is theyre super heavy. i think with my broadhead theyre around 550 grain... and im only getting 277 fps out of my admiral. seems a little slow to me

I'd shoot Goldtip 7595's with a finished arrow weight of around 420 gr (6 gr/lb). My Guardian loves this setup, and the arrows are really durable.

im moderately confused about the last post?

277 is fast enough! If you want to go lighter Carbon Express Maximas are a good arrow.
|
I second the gold tips. Affordable and tough as nails..
