Blazer Vanes vs. Satndard 4in
Ive heard some things about both. The guy in bass pro said Blazer vanes don't shoot broadheads well. Other people say they are the best. What does everyone else think.

The guy at Bass Pro Shop you spoke too is stupid !!!! Blazer vanes are great, been using them for like 5 or 6 years. I was shooting 4" vanes, and all was good, tried Blazers on a few arrows, and I picked up a little speed (not much) but I was shooting flatter and tighter groups. The Blazers are on the Carbon Express Maxima 250, shooting both Mathews Switchback XT and Z7

i switched to blazers and my groups got tighter I love them .

While I'm more of a feather man of the plastic vanes I've tried the Blazers shot the best.

Morons
The dingleberry you spoke to at BassPro doesn't know what the heck he is talking about.

Why do half or even more pre-fletched factory arrows come with blazer vanes? because they work great and are really durable. The guy from bass pro should be working at a hardware store.

He sounds like the guy at Academy Sports who tried convincing a friend of mine who was shopping for a handgun that 9mm was a better defense round than .45. Note to self, just because someone works in a sporting good store doesn't make them a guru. I still use the 4" vanes because I'm too cheap to switch, but everyone I know who gets into competitions from time to time uses tried and true Blazers.

I have been shooting blazers for a few year, all good. I did try speed spin stye blazers, they slowed my speed down a bit
