Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter Rest
 

Hi, I am getting a new bow soon and was trying to decide on what rest to buy. I have a prong rest (quicktune) on my older bow but wanted to try a drop away rest and was looking at the trophy taker. Can anyone give me any advice on this rest, the pros and cons, bads and goods, etc. Thank You . God Bless.;)

I have never shot one - sorry. You might want to check out the TKO by Golden Key Futura as well. It is 49.99 and rock solid & easy to setup! Better yet try both and then make up your mind! I don' t think for the money you can beat the TKO.

I' ve got the Shakey Hunter on both of my bows-
Patriot SC & FX- and love it:D. In the past
with my shoot-thru rests (NAP Quicktunes),
I could never get away from fletching contact[:@].
Since I shoot fixed blades most of the time, I' m
able to use aggressive helical with the TT...
and has it ever helped[:-].

I was a bit worried at first about the durability
of the TT...not anymore. It has definitely held
it' s own.

It took a little time and help at my bow shop to
get the timing right....but that' s true with any
arrow rest.

Several good drop-away rests on the market,
and the TT is definitely one of the best;).

Yes ,
Check out the new TKO fallaway rest ,this one is bullet proof and has a bunch of features the TT does not have .
My dealer has now made this his new tuff choice rest.

I was using the Muzzy Zero Effect last year but bought a Shakey Hunter this year to try but I found it to be too loud in my opinion. I have heard great things about Trophy Takers but I went back to the Muzzy. I have tried five different drop aways so far and the Muzzy wins in all catagories except maybe looks which is the least important.

i love the trophy taker. there is a thread on the ibo forum on 3d rest check it out everyone love the trophy taker.
