bow sights...again

I'm planning on buying a new set of sights for my bow. I have a $40 TruGlo set on it now that is old and dinged up.

I've seen the recommendations that you've all posted, and I respect your opinions. My question is this: What do the more pricey sights have that the $40 TruGlo doesn't? I'm familiar enough with hunting gear to know that many (most) times you get what you pay for. I've never messed with a nice sight, so I don't know what the advantages are.

I've been looking at the G5 sights (mostly just to match the camo and G5 logo on my bow). I'm not hung up on just one name though. I'll probably end up spending somewhere around $100 on whatever I buy. But what will I be gaining by spending an extra hundred bucks?

Higher prices sights tend to be more durable, have easier adjustments, more repeatable adjustments, finish is better, many have "tooless" adjustments, Better/more fiber on the pins, and some have 3rd plane adjustment to name a few things.

The extra expense will be for the micro adjustments and the extra durability in machining technology.

Take the Spot-Hogg series sight for example. Initially very expensie compared to what other sights can be purchased but they are 2nd to none in adjustability and durability. Bomb-proof and super bright!
