Right or Left Helical
Hi, I am a left handed shooter, does it matter if I shoot left or right helical fletching on my arrows . I have been shooting left helical but was told that usually right handed shooters shoot left helical and left handed shooters shoot right helical. Is that true or does it matter ? Thanks for any info.

From what I can tell, it doesn' t matter. It may have made a difference when hunters shot longbows off the shelf, But with most modern bows being center shot with arrow rests, I don' t think it makes a difference. I shoot a recurve off the shelf, I' ve never noticed the difference in the flight of a left vs. right helical arrow.
