pup:

I recently got a used Pro 38 dual cam. It is IMO, the best bow I have ever shot. It is fast, but pulls smoothly, and shoots with very little recoil or noise. Even if the bow did not have the great performance that it does, I would like it for the accuracy alone. I have not had a chance to shoot it at more than 30 yards, but it is quite impressive at that range.;)

I' m not absolutely sure, but I think the current Pro 38 with the infinity cam uses the same riser. It has a long riser/short limbs without the heavier reflex of other bows like the newer Bowtechs and the Mathews bows I had (MQ1 and Q2 XL). I think that the accuracy and forgiving nature of the bow may be due to the straighter riser. I would not hesitate to get a Pro 38, but you may want to shoot the duallys as well.

pup, purchased the single cam pro 38 last week. i also bought it for 3d / backup hunting bow. i' ve been shooting a mathews legacy for the past year. here' s how it compares. it' s faster than the legacy. little more hand shock, smoothness when drawing about the same, forgiveness similar, quiteness legacy, all around, it' s an awesome bow. you won' t be disappointed.
