I personally think the Beman ICS hunters are very good for the money...

I have shot both alum and carbon and currently shoot cx and I am very pleased with them,I am sure the others are very good too.If you decide to shoot carbons pick one that your bow likes and what I mean by that is go to a pro shop and get them to let you shoot some of each they have to offer and pick one that shoots the best with ur setup, don't be cheap buy the best you can afford, remember that your arrow and broadhead are the bussiness end of the deal and besides most carbons can be shot for years if you takecare of them.I usually buy a dozen and keep 6 for just hunting and the other 6 for shooting in the backyard.

Affordable and tough. All four arrows have passed through deer in the picture. Still shootable arrows. Been shooting them for years. Dont have to spend alot to get a good qaulity arrow. |
I 've shot or shoot arrows from the different manufacturers, (Easton, Carbon Express, Beman, and Gold Tip. I found that the less expensive shafts are almost as durable as the more costly one. The accuracy is not that noticable on the 3D course but I weigh arrows and seperate by weight. I like the Beman ICS hunter (black) for hunting. A dozen of these are about half the price of Maxima's which I really like but in my opinion cost too much.

I had been using the Beemans and got fairly good groups, then I switched to x wraps, with the small blazer vanes and the groups went to hell. I may try the x wraps with longer vanes.
