It looks to me like the Montecs are a little more cut on contact than are the slick tricks. For blowing through an opposite shoulder, this might make the Montecs a little better. I like sharpening my broadheads so I don't consider replaceable blades an advantage. The slick tricks might be sharper than a typical Montec so that would help the slick tricks penetration. The slick tricks tip is going to act differently on bone than the Montec, don't know that one would always be better on bone than the other.

In summary - who knows which is better? Both are good designs.
