Summit Viper SS problem
 

Just bought the Viper SS and cant get them to come apart out of the box. Worked on it for like half an hour and they wouldnt shake lose. Anyone have suggestions?

Take it back to the Store and have them separate them. Never had that problem with mine.

When my wife got hers, we had the same problem. I used a rubber mallet and beat them apart. didn't like it, but had to do it. They were REALLY stuck, most likely the same way yours is. I startred just tapping, but ended up giving it one real good whack and they separated. No harm to the stand, just a big bang.

Yes, they are locked in pretty good out of the box. Rubber mallet will do the trick.
