If you have a dealer that sells Athens Archery bow near you take a look at them. They are smooth, silent, vib free, and FAST for a not speed bow.

Let me know if you need any more info.
Not knocking mathews. I just never felt comfortable with them.
good luck on your selection! There our lots of good bows out there!

I'm a newbie and jumped in head first and bought the Reezen 6.5. The bow draws well, not as smooth as others, but she's a smoker!!! It is a little forgiving and I am pegging dots easy just after shooting for only a few days. Shoot them both and see what feels better, I didn't feel comfortable with the Monster, especially it being my first bow.

all the bowtech line is amazing,
hell all the new bows are pretty cool,
That said i have yet to shoot a "preloaded limb" bow that i was a fan of (aka, Xforce, dreamseason, reezen, monster)
i realy wanna check out the athens line, And The New breed bows.

a buddy of mine just bought a monster. He loves it. I can't stand it. It is the loudest bow I have ever heard that has nothing wrong with it. I will have to admit he was using his top pin out to 50 yds, but man was it loud.
