patriot is smoother bow at the shot there was not much differants. vft got 10 more feet a second thats a plus. i was in the same place you are in i got a second patriot. i think either bow is a good choice if you don' t hunt when it [' [' ;;./. cold brace height mite bite you

Rick, try and get a hold of Grant-KS on here, hes a pretty knowledgable guy about both bows you mentioned.

Grant will tell you to get whatever bow you want as long as it' s a Bowtech! I am personally saving up for the Extreme VFT. I have a short draw, so the BH doesnt matter as much. Plus i need the extra speed because im getting the 60 lb model with a 27" draw. Hope this helps.

P.S. you might want to ask this in the technical forum, more guys there shooting these bows.

Both are good bows.
I have the Dually Pat and have shot the evft my only problem with the EVFT was the brace height and cold winter mornings the string could catch the sleeve of a jacket.

The Pat on the other hand has a 7 5/8" brace height and smokes arrows.
Mine is set on 60lb 28" draw 385gr arrow through the crono 275fps a 245gr arrow went 288fps that was with string loop, peep, and BT hush kit.

I will tell you that the energy that is stored in the arrow is great they hit like Mack Trucks I almost got a complete pass through on a hog even tho I hit him a little to far forward I went through the gristle plate smashed both shoulders and the tip of the muzzy was sticking out the other side.

My vote would go for the Patriot SC as well though it has more to do with the brace height and my draw length. With my longer draw I tend to prefer a little more forgiving design. With a draw length under 29 inches I would probably go with the VFT for more power.
