I would respectfully disagree with howler. Weight is not the only variable in flight. The shape of the projectile will also factor into the way it flies through the air and the speed it obtains. This will become more noticeable the longer the distance. With bullets, this is referred to as ballistic coefficient. The bullets may have the same weight, but if they are formed differently the ballistics will change. This is the reason why we need to sight in for different bullets.
With bows we shoot shorter distances. I guarantee you a 100 grain metal block will fly different than a 100 grain field point. My bow shoots the Muzzy 3 blade almost the same as the field points at short distances. At 60 yards, the broad heads are slightly slower ad evidenced on a chronograph. Muzzy MX-3's in the same grain also fly different. This is based on my experience.
