09 Bowtech Admiral VS 08 Bowtech Guardian

Greetings friends, just trying to get some advice on a new bow purchase finally. I have shot the Admiral and it is amazing as many have stated. My question is geared to the folks who still have or shoot an 08 Guardian. I can get a leftover Guardian and save close to $300 over going with the Admiral. Am I giving up too much new technology by snatching up the Guardian or is it worth the extra cash to go with the Admiral? I have read the Guardian is an awesome shooter as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have an 07 Guardian and I like it better then the Admiral. For $300 less I would go with the Guardian. You have to shoot them and decide for yourself which one is best for you. Both are great bows good luck with your decision.

Good point, I just gotta find an 08 thats set up ready to shoot. The one I am looking at is NIB still. The guy won it an a RMEF banquet so its totally brand spanking new. Thats the problem lol havent shot a Guardian personally. I have shot the General and Admiral and they were amazing compared even to my 06 Allegiance which was wonderful

I agree the Center Pivot bows are great they have no hand shock and are dead quiet.

They are something arent they??

Good luck with your choice you can't go wrong with either bow.

Got the Guardian.... woohoo!

Congrats! I think you will be very happy with it. You can use the money you saved buying it over the Admiral to dress it up. Have fun!

Let the good times begin, time to set it up!

Thats what I did, Bought a new leftover guardian, put the new QAD rest and HHA single pin 2" sight for a few dollars more than the price of a bare Admiral. I'am completely satisified with this bow.

very nice! I was stuck between a QAD rest or Ripcord, went with the ripcord, we'll see how that works out.

I shot a Ripcord on my Guardian last year. It is a good rest. I have a LimbDriver now and I really like it.

Do you prefer your limbdriver over the ripcord? If so, why?

Yes I do. It was very easy to setup. I also like the way it attaches to the top limb instead of the cables. The one thing I like better about the Ripcord though is you can lock the launcher up so your arrow won't fall off.

Yeah its give and take with all of them I think. Thanks for sharing that info though. We'll see how that ripcord goes. I need to post a pic of my new rig somewhere too dont i?? lol
