Tripod Deer Stands

I would like to hear comments on tripod stands.

I have thought about getting one but, they are not that safe because you cant wear a safety harness.And I sat in one one time and it was not very sturdy.

we got a couple of 10 foot tripods. They are ok we mostly hog hunt down here. No real problems with them. I guess the only bad thing would be is that I would never stand up to shoot.
