Hunting Hoist Review
Folks,
Just finished up this review about the Strapper Retriever. Nice product, but a bit noisy. Anyone used one?
I gave it 5 of 10.

I just think a rope is better, I guess.

It can't make more noise than my cord loaded one! I can't even use it with all the noise it makes, sounds like a tape measure rolling back up. Does the strapper wind up by itself?

Can you wind it up with your bow attached? How much weight could you do that with?

I then wind up the Strapper Retriever. I'd say it would not be possible to wind it up with Bow attached, not enough leverage.

Mine is bigger then a chalk box. It is plastic. So, when hard things hit it, it makes noise.
You can't tell me that a rope makes more noise and takes up more room!
Now, as far as not getting tangled up, the Strapper winds, HANDS DOWN.

Part of being quiet is the Hunters resposibility. I never have any trouble with mine. I can't walk in total silence either. I sure wish I could fly!!
It'd be handy while you go Bowhunting! Swoop down and land in your stand! That'd be Sweet!!
