Tru Fire 3d hunter
I order this release a couple nights ago. My buddy and me were talking about it and he said he tried it out at BP and he said you have to use back tension to use it. I thought you just pulled the trigger with your thumb. Anybody know? Opinions about it in general?

Wayne it's a thumb release and you open the jaws and setoff the trigger by pressing on the thumb bar. Very simple and easy to use. It's adjustable in several setting and if you have any issues with it Tru-fire halped me with mine. Enjoy it. Back tension style shooting it's not really made for that application in my opinion.

If it's the same model I tried out a few years ago, it's almost impossible to shoot WITH BT... trigger's WAY too mushy to pull through and get a crisp, cleanbreak from that release.

Thanks guys. I guess i should have said something sooner but i got the release the day after i started this thread and i like it. I cant really say my shooting has improved in leaps and bounds but it beats having a strap aroundmy wrist. But i think im deffinately going to get a better one once i get the extra money. Ive been loking at the carters and they look pretty nice. Thanks again guys!
