GLOVES

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON INSULATED GLOVES THAT DON'T TAKE AWAY YOUR FEELING FOR BOWHUNTING? I wear a pair of thin gloves no matter how cold my hands get, because I like to still feel the shot. The downside to it, is that when a deer comes in bow range and I take my hands out of my pockets, it only takes seconds for my hands to go numb.

The UA Gloves with hand warmers in my pockets always works for me.

I have known guys to put fingerless wool gloves over them.;)

Get some glomitts (gloves/mittens). There are lots of good ones out there, the best ones I've used have a thin fleese glove inside the mitten. the thumb and first finger of the gloves have a slit that you can get your fingertips through for perfect feel on your release or picking up a small object. I've been using them for archery, rifle and icefishing here in WI and in MN for several years. Can't say anything bad about them. Sorry I can't remember my brand names though...

Zophy, try the Under Armour skin fit gloves and over that you can wear a pair of Cabelas PolarTech power stretch liner gloves. You'll still get pretty good finger feeling and the combination isn't bulky.
Now if it gets really...really cold, then you'll have to go with the Arctic Shield mitts.

I wish UA came out sooner. But this last season I used the UA liner glove in < 32 degrees, and my hand liked it. You still have to put your hand in your pocket after a while.
