Redhead Bows

Friend of mine can get me a nice discount on the BP's Redhead brand bow. I've heard their made by Bowtech, which I hear is good. Anyone have any advice, good or bad, about them? This would be my first compound bow.

RE: Redhead Bows

I believe they made both of these.
The Redhead Kryptik

Also this one.
The Redhead Toxik

I have not personally shot one, but they look like solid bows.
I was actually holding/looking at them at the Bass Pro in Denver, CO today.

RE: Redhead Bows

I have shot both, (i wk @ BP) Both made by Diamond for B.P. Both good shooters for the money, I dont think you would be disapointed. I like th Toxik better though, also th Kronik is ok too

I just got a Redhead Kronik 50-60# bow, but somehow the pull right now is 65# with the bolts backed out a quarter turn from maxed out. I love the bow, the quiver will need upgrading as it does not lock into position and comes off easy. Other then that its a great bow for the price, mine is very very quiet and although you will never get the 304 fps mine is shooting 260 fps right now even with my short 26 inch draw. Also made by Bowtech/Diamond so that is a plus.

They are actually really good shooting bows for the money. The only problem I had with mine was when I wanted a new bow I could not sell it. Most people that are going to buy a used bow want an actual diamond or bowtech not a RedHead. Just my thoughts. But they really do shoot well.
