Hoyt bows
Looking at a new bow and considering a Ultratech, but how do you decide they also have a Cybertech, Razortech, etc.etc
Any help guys???? |

Not yet, I will be asking the same question in a few months! Can' t wait to get a new bow!!!!

RE: Hoyt bows
Try shooting them all and base your decision off which one feels and shoots the best for you. Thats what I did and I ended up with a Ultratec.

RE: Hoyt bows
All depends on what you are using it for, hunting or 3D. I have a 2000 Ultratec that I love and just got a Razortec which I think is going to make a nice hunting bow. I would say to shoot all of them and decide for yourself. The Cybertec is very nice also, kind of a nice inbetween the Ultratec and the Razortec.
Good Luck |
RE: Hoyt bows
Don' t discount the ProTec. Absolutely the best bow I' ve ever owned, including PSE, Jennings, Mathews, & Bowtech. These Hoyt bows may look a little goofy, but they absolutely cross T' s and dot I' s. Good Luck.

RE: Hoyt bows
You decide not only by shooting them all, but also by making sure what you buy matches your shooting and hunting needs. I' ve shot nothing but Hoyt bows for the last 15 years, and I like most of them. I bought a Havoctec last year, because I liked the way it felt, and it matches my shooting style (shots within 40 yards, and treestand hunting). I felt the smaller size and light weight were great for my needs. Obviously, the Havoctec might not fit the bill for target shooting and/or western hunting.

RE: Hoyt bows
when i bought mine i shot the ultra tec, razor tec, and cyber tec. i ended up with the ultratec. it was the same axel to axel as my magnatec and had a bigger brace height and faster. i feel i made a great decision. i absolutly love it and the cam and a half is awsome however, they are not cheap. shoot them all and which ever one you decide on will be a great decision you just cannot go wrong with a new hoyt.

RE: Hoyt bows
I had an idea of which one I wanted, but I shot several bows--including 3 bows that weren' t Hoyt' s. After endless comparisons, I selected the Razortec since I will use it mainly for hunting. My groups have never been tighter.
