Sight question

Just broke my viper sight...string broke while lowering my bow and I need a new one. Looking at Spot Hogg and G5. Who do you think makes a better sight?

RE: Sight question

85% of the people on here will tell you spott hogg. Ive never owned one, and dont plan on it just b/c of my setups/obligations, but from what the mass of people say, spott hoggmakes one of the best sites period.

RE: Sight question

IMO, I doubt you'll find a better built site than a Spot Hogg. I have a 4 year old Hunter Hogg it that has seen several bows now and I won't be switching anytime soon.

I doubt a fall from a tree will harm a Spot Hogg much. Maybe broken fibers and a bent pin. ;)

VIPER!!! :D I use a Viper Pro 2000 and it is just an amazing sight! I believe it's Jeff (gmmat) who sold his spott-hogg hogg-it to get the viper.;)

RE: Sight question

Spott Hoggs are a great sight, well built and easy to use. I would suggest, if you get one, to get a wrapped pin model. I've used the G5 sights and just not nearly as impressed with them as the SHs. I have a spott hogg on all my bows and have always come back.
