IMO you'll do much better if you wait and buy after the season.Right now there aren't many shops looking to make deals in the customers favor.Plus you'll have a lot more time to set it up and get accustomed to a new bow.

Shoot'em all and then make your choice. Hoyt, Mathews, Athens, there's just too many.

The top of the line best bow out there is...... Whatever I'm shooting that day! LOL! All the posts above mention good bow and some good ones were not listed. I'm a dealer for a few brands but, unfortunally, I can't sell or price them online so it's not a sales pitch. Almost everyone is making good bows right now. They aren't going to be in buisness long if they don't. Shoot as many as you can then list what is most important to you. If you want dead in your hand, mathews. If you want blazing speed, High Country. I can go on and on but you get the point. All of 'em will do something better than the others and only you can decide which one does what YOU want it to.

Oh, and by the way, if you wait about a month and a half some manufacturers will have the next year models avalible. You can get a good deal on a new leftover or get the latest and greatest.
