Gloves?
does anyone in here hunt with gloves?
if so, has anyone tried the scent blocker road trips xlt gloves? i am looking for a set of gloves that fit relatively snug and arent overly bulky.that way i can still draw back and use my release efficiently. if the xlt's arent any good what does anybody else on here suggest? |
RE: Gloves?
Are you looking for gloves to keep you hands warm in the cold, or gloves to keep the shine of human skin from alerting game?
I have a pair of UnderArmor Cold Gear release gloves that I wear in the cold/cool weather. They work pretty well. Comfortable and easy to shoot with. When its extremely cold.. I break out the arctic sheild glo-mits. In warm weather, I have a pair of stretch-fit gloves... forget the name of them.... that I cut the fingers off of. I use these turkey hunting as well. |
RE: Gloves?
during the warmer weather ill probably just buy some cheapie thin knit gloves and chop the fingers off,but when it starts to get a little cooler i wasnt sure what to get.
i have been really looking at the scent blocker xlt road trips gloves. |
RE: Gloves?
I picked up a pair of Rem Tec gloves at Waldorf world and they are thin lycra like and scent eliminator fabric. grip dots on palm. like a second skin with gripppp. Cold weather brings out the glove mitt over them...

RE: Gloves?
When I wear gloves I likethese made by Rocky Brands. They're lightweight, are plenty warm and they're made to work well with a release plusthey have their Scent IQ in them.

RE: Gloves?
Gloves suck! I hate wearing them but have no choice. I recentley bought these Browning Waterfowl gloves from Bass pro Shop that work well. They have a nice textured grip but aren't too bulky.
