Default Martin Bows

In the market for a new bow and was wondering what your thoughts were on these. Found an 08 Cheetah for $250 at Bass Pro discount store here in Springfield. The specs look good on it. Has anyone shot/owned/use one currently? How is it? Just looking to make sure I dont make a mistake. MSRP = $585

Ya...It was broken during shipping so they sent it back and Martin sent them a new one....but because of 'its' history they put it in the discount store. I dont get it because it is not even the same bow....But I sure mean to take advantage of it.

Hop on that deal with a quickness. I own a Jaguar and a Bengal and love them both. The Bengal is pretty much the same thing as the Cheetah.

Both the Cheetah and the Bengal are good deals at that price, especially if new. However, someone is yanking your chain about the MSRP. The BengalMSRP is$449 and the Cheetah was $399. MAP or most often OTC (over the counter) price is $399 and $329 respectively.

Still, considering that they are both in the 2009 lineup you won't find much better of a deal. I would recomend shooting both to see if anything stands out to you between them. You'll be very hard pressed to find a smoother cam either. And you'll end up with new bow warranty and unsurpassed customer service.
