EnduraSkin

Hey anybody use this product from Basspro, the reviews all say it will help with keeping you cool and warm. Sounds fishy to me!

it's ok for temps above 35 or so. below that, I go with the heavier stuff, or use it as a first layer under some real thermals. I sweat a lot while walking, and it stinks up pretty easily for me too. I wear it once and it needs washed.

Can't be beat for the early season. Coolest fabric I've found. Works nice for long walks in while it cold in the morning, but don't rely on it to keep you warm at all. Bring other layers for that. But for warm weather or high activityhunting, it cannot be beat.

I have a 2 full sets, pants, shirt, gloves and head cover...and like it, especially for early season. I think it is supposed to be an odor control base layer too, but I'm not sure on that issue. I do find that it "holds" a lot more of my after hunting stink than my XSCENT stuff does. The EnduraSkin has to be washed after every hunt for me, but the same does not seem to be the case for XSCENT.

I'm glad you wrote that. I been wondering about that xscent stuff meself. How is it in cold weather?

It is really cool in hot temperatures.. I hunt in Florida and so far this year.. I am really happy with it. Doesn't seem like it would keep you warm. I wear the shirt and when the wind hits it almost feels like an AC.

It's not much for keeping you warm in the cold, but I think that the scent control aspect is pretty good. My trouble now is finding the xscent. I usd to get it at WalMart, but they don't carry it any longer. Also tried BPS and they don't have it in the store, but you can order it online.
