RE: Best Bow
i love my x-force, if the brace height was more than 6 i would be a billion times better...but over all amazing

RE: Best Bow
*cough* BOWTECH *cough* Ha ha just joking, or I am? Just go in and shoot and buy what you like, you can't go wrong with any of the new bows they are good. If your on a budget check out Ross or Diamonds.
I shoot agaurdian and I love it. |
RE: Best Bow
I'm partial to PSE but to each his own. Try many and go with your heart. Any suggestions on which X-Force in most forgiving? Dream Season?

RE: Best Bow
It seems like everyone is still trying to keep up with Mathews. They come out with parallel limbs and everyone else does. They come out with harmonic dampers and everyone made something similar. They make lighter, slimmer limb bows and what is everyone else doing this year? I'm not saying they make the best product. I am saying that everyone follows they're lead. I guess that means my vote is for Mathews.

RE: Best Bow
Mathews didn't invent parallel limbs, XI did back in themid80's. They had a bow called the cybertec that was parallel limbs.Well,I have twoMathews bows and they are nice, I also have a Bowtech General, really nice too but very slow. I also owned a HoytTrykon but I sold it. I picked up a PSE DreamSeason three weeks ago and it blows my other bows away. They are not even in the same league as the Dream Season. This is coming from aguy who thinks that PSE customer service stinks and I used to hate the company butnowI can't even think of picking up one of my other bows, they are all just hanging on the wall now. I'm getting an ACC to fly like a dart every time at 327 FPS with this bow. There is no noise, it's dead accurate, I still can't believe just how good this bow is.

RE: Best Bow
Just like everyone else has said, start shooting and find one that fits.

RE: Best Bow
Well, every year they seem to come up with better and better rigs for all of us to spend our money on. I look forward to buying a new rig every season and have no loyalty to any particular brand.... build me a better mousetrap and I'll buy it. That being said, I honestly believe the Mathews DXT that I'm shooting this season is THE best bowhunting rig that I've ever put together. It's short and manuverable, light, fast, quiet,... and most importantly, deadly accurate. I couldn't imagine a better feeling huntin' rig in my hands.

RE: Best Bow
I've owned close to 100 bows of most every brand, but BowTech has been my go to bow since 03. I Love they way they constantly push Bow technology, and the performance and shootability I get out of their bows has always been Awesome!!:D

RE: Best Bow
i havnt shot one but i hear the center pivot bows from bowtech are pretty nice. mathews needs to worry about catchin that if you ask me lol
|
RE: Best Bow
Bowtech is definitely on top as far as technology goes. But most people still go to brands like matthews, mostly because of the trusted name and dominate bows in the past and i think that plays a part in peoples decision in purchasinga bow but people also need to look at the bows of today im not saying matthews has lost its competitive edge im just saying research before u buy

RE: Best Bow
very nice very nice

RE: Best Bow
I have been shooting for many years and I can remember when it was just the hoyts, browning, jenning ,martin ,pearson, darton (actually created most of the technology used today by all the manufacturers).Bear beign a lower end bow.
Your Mathews and bowtech along with many other brands have come to the forefront simply because of advertising dollars and your obvious good quality but when it comes down to it your hoyts, martins , Darton and a few others will always be my choice simply because I know the history of these pioneers and history will always beat out advertising dollars. this is my personal opinion and not a stab to down play any other bow maker |
RE: Best Bow
i see more hoyt adds than anything else, aside from mathews of course. actually i hardly ever see bowtech being advertised
|
RE: Best Bow
watch outdoor network or OLN sometimes I wonder if bowtech or mathews have a major stake in these TV stations lol
|
RE: Best Bow
I think its more important to go to a good bow shop then what bow you buy. I reputable shop that will set u up good is more important that what it actually is.
