RE: Rage 2 Blade Problem
I was hoping these thing would work because they fly so well. Got a new bow and it at 65# 305FPS so I was not sure on how the Muzzys would fly.
So I got the Rage bug, Now Im pissed shot a 6pt buck last night, hit high but still should have done the job, roll bin broke on impact.[:@]found one of the blades on the ground with hair but no blood, arrow past all through.Tracked a drip drip blood trail for about 100yds. then dried up. Looked for the deer 3 1/2 hours last night and 4 hours this morning, Im sick and pissed, a lost 4 hours of work, and no deer. Does anyone have the e-mail address? |
RE: Rage 2 Blade Problem
Agh yes, another pin buster......
This is bad cause i really was liking these heads. Umm they have no email mate, but they do have a phone number you can call. They will give you new heads for the ones you break with no argument at all. But what good does this do you if they wont stay together? Here is the information mate. RE: Rage 2 Blade Problem
Me and a buddy shot 4 deer with them so far this year using the ones with the rol pins. None fell out, even the one which went through the shoulder blade.

RE: Rage 2 Blade Problem
Thats happening all over the place, my bow shop i hang at has guys used same one over 9 times in hogs.
But also let me tell you the older verson of rage 2 blades are the ones with grub screws. They are all roll pin now. Also i looked today at the ones in the bow shop. Looks like they changed the roll pin a bit on those. The pin is center rolled to the inside some now instead of a regular rolled pin. So these may be the ones people are using 9+ times and still working. If this is true, then rage has come up with a little better working roll pin. |
RE: Rage 2 Blade Problem
if you want a good mechanical try the Rocket Steelhead i cant remember how many deer ive shot with them but im more impressed as the years go on. using them for over ten years now.

RE: Rage 2 Blade Problem
Back out with theMuzzys..........
Well I went out last night and killed a geek buck, would have been nice to recover the 6pter from 2 weeks ago...... Shot with 100gr Muzzy double lung ran 40yds and deader than 4 o'clock. Like I said would really like to use the rages but cant take chances on ripping bladeds off anymore. Diamond Marquis (Bowtech) G5 sights Octane quiver Victory sticks with 100gr Muzzys 333gr total weight 65# 305FPS DropeZone Rest With Muzzys I think if Rage can fix this problem they will have a great BR. But for now Im sticking to the Muzzys and Montec. |
