benhuntin,
I put one on last year. Best thing I bought in a long time. It has made my bow even more forgiving, and allows me to shoot carbons with a tight helical. Very quiet, and it gave me about a 5fps increase in speed. I highly recommend it.

I have been using one for two years now and I can' t imagine hunting without one. I love it. It looked like it would be hard to set up, but just follow the video they include and it is a breeze. I set mine up the first time and my first shot was a perfect bullethole. I picked up a few fps. also, and am now able to shoot a more aggresive helical vane set up. I now use it on my Q2 and it is a dream . Well worth the money. And I had to call Muzzy a few times to ask questions and they were so helpful.

I used one last year on my Parker UL31. It was easy to set up and shot very well but I just could not get over the looks of the thing. Also I didn' t like that your arrow can slide across the bow shelf. I switched to a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter and really love this rest. I replaced the factory arrow holder and bought a Quick Tune 4000 arrow holder and stuck it on the bow shelf. Now the bow can be turned 90 degrees without the arrow moving. The MZE did shoot very well but the Trophy Taker is much simpler and durable in my opinion.....

Another fan. Easy to setup and no extra time was needed to retune the bow for broadheads. They hit exactly the same as the field points did. Overall it is a very good functional rest in my opinion. I do agree that it looks a little funky but who cares on a hunting bow?

Well, I told myself that my Quick tune 1000 rests were just fine. For some reason I just picked up a Trophy Ridge Drop Zone on Ebay last night. I guess I just need something to mess around with. I' ve not had any problems tuning my bows to shoot bullet holes and to get my broadheads flyinh just like my field points with the prong rests.

I probably shouldn' t be messing around with a well tuned bow just as Turkey season is about to open. Anybody have any insight or comments on this rest?

The MZE is absolutely awesome. It would take some convincing to get me to ever hunt without one. Improved my groups, took away any worry about the shaft falling off the rest while hunting, and looks good, to boot.

I hear people complain about what they cost, but I think it' s the best money in archery accessories I' ve spent in a long time.

MZE is the best rest i' ve used so far took me about a year to buy one, just could' nt get over the looks of this rest. My groups are tighter and I did notice an increase in speed. It don' t look so bad now it' s just got to grow on you i guess.

I also am looking for a new rest. Since I have never used or seen this rest my questions are two fold. 1. Is this rest quiet or noisy to use for hunting? 2. Will this rest allow you to let down the arrow at full draw if necessary? Thanks for any information.

pointman,

The MZE is very quiet. I' m shooting Beman Hunters whcih have a very smooth finish & I can barely hear them as they are drawn across the rest. I' ve heard of folks putting mole skin on the rest but never felt like it was necessary personally.

It is very easy to let down at full draw with the MZE. Your arrow will be right where it needs to be.

;)I' m a dumb a** I have had the MZE since Christmas and just put it on last week. Wow, it is everything everyone has said. It was easyer to put on and set up than I thought, it is smooth and quiet and has tightened my group sizes. Great rest can' t wait to hunt with it this fall.

i agree it is one darn good rest. in fact i am going to buy another for my back up bow. one of my friends at work was thinking of going to a drop away and when i turned my bow a little over 90 deg. and the arrow was still on the rest he went and bought one. we both had to call muzzy and found that their customer service is unbelivably awsome. turned out that i needed a conversion kit for my Hoyt and he just needed to adj. somethin on his partiot awsome customer service they even told him that if he could not get it to send the bow to them and they would hook him up and pay the shipping.[:o]

A little late it appears, but I have to aggree with all before me. The MZE is the best rest I have ever used. Had if for over two years and two P&Y bucks. Love it.

I posted earlier that I switched from my Muzzy to a Trophy Taker but after shooting it now for awhile I have gone back to the Muzzy and I learned my lesson. I will stick to my Muzzy!!!!

Mine is great and is very durable. It has been on my bow for two years and thousands of shots,3-D, hunting, etc. It even withstood a trip to Alaska last spring and took a lot of abuse, and has never gave a minutes worth of trouble.
