Smoked a slick head last night at about twenty yards. she was quartering pretty hard away. shot placement was textbook perfect (back around liver area, slightly high) and it came out through the lf shoulder. when we dressed her out, i double lunged her, and one of my blades actually sliced through the liver. Very fatal shot to say the least, anyways, the rage did its job. ive heard people say dont shoot em with a mech. if they are hard quartered but my arrow passed completely through and through the back shoulder and stuck in the ground with no prob. i watched her fall about 50 yards from where i hit her! one blade was slightly bent, making those blades unusable again, but i wouldnt have expected any different from any other type of bh at that kind of angle.

Anyways, im not trying to support the product or hype, but now i have seen the results and i was very happy. Although shot placement was good, she would have been down rather quickly with any bh, i couldnt get over the blood trail and size of the hole. it was huge. i entered high and exited low and she was still blowing blood out of the top hole. Good clean ethical kill.

Yeah, like i said, any bh wouldve done the trick, the shot was perfect, but all of the blades were open, none snapped off and she expired within about 30seconds or so of the shot. im not promoting them, but when i bought them, it was almost like a trial thing for me. ive never ever shot expandables and this was my first experience with them. after i practiced with them i was more than convincedthat they would hit where i aimed. i was still skeptical about them b/c they are more complex than a fixed blade, but needless to say im satisfied for now, andd i will continue touse them for sure.
