Broadheads

As many of you know it has been 14 yearsz since I have bow hunted. And that I am still in Iraq so it is hard to check stuff out. I am hoping to get home from here before Christmas and hunt the last month of the Georgia season with my new Guardian. I know it will be gun season, but I am so excited about this bow I want to use it.

I am looking at broadheads and there are so manyout there. What do you guys think of the Slick Trick 85 grain broadheads?

I want to keep my arrows as lite as possible. 85 grain will bring me to 349 grain overall weight. hopefully this will help me get close to the test speed of 303 fps. Thank you for you help and advice....

If the 85 grain Slick Tricksare anything like the 100 grain magnums that I use, then I think you have made an excellent choice.

Slick Tricks fly great, are extremely sharp, and as tough as any head as I have found. I can't think of much else to ask for.

I have shot numerous broadheads over the years... I bought some slick trick magnums 100g this year... Best bh i've ever shot. Also, something to consider, or atleast if it were me, if your shooting over 300 fps I would go w/ the 100 grain. The pros of the larger head and cutting diameter would far out weight the extra 15 grains you would be saving. And you know really whats the difference between 303fps and 298fps? Nothing... Anyway, not trying to say to much but throwing another idea out there.... And I'm assuming if your in Iraq your in the military, if so THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR GREAT COUNTRY... GOD BLESS

Slick trick 85's are excellent broadheads. Strong, sharp, accurate and they penetrate well. They are one of the best replaceable blade heads on the market.

Slick Tricks are the best in the business in my opinion. An all around perfectly balanced head for all hunting applications.

ThunderHead

I have always been a thunderhead person. They are tough and fly pretty decent with my field points. They also last, and can be reused over and over. Thanks for all you have done over there.

Thunderheads all the way!!! They're like a cast iron skillet! Tough as nails, stay sharp for ever, and fly great.... Just my two cents..... And THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE!! We keep you in our thoughts!!! Be Safe and return as soon as you can, and then take you a monster with your new Guardian :)
