Rage Broad heads

I had a chance to shoot the Rage Broad heads over the weekend and I will say that they are the worst invention ever. Never again will they go on any arrow of mine...

+1 Esp since there are more people on here in favor of them than opposed to them...

was it there field tip accuracy or there devastating entry holes that turned you off?

LMAO.. I was wondering the same. Everyone I know thats tried them loved them. They are all i use.. I just cant get over how well the things fly! I was shooting 50 yards today for fun and getting 3-4inch groups since im not the best on distance shooting. Darn good if you ask me. Its nice being able to shoot a fieldtip, and then shoot the bhead and actaully hit the same arrow...

alright alright, this thread didnt BLOW UP like I thought it would. I did try them for the first time and they ARE going to be my go to broad head this year. I just figured since I am stuck in the office for a couple more days until season opens this Saturday that I would post something negative about Rage and have a bunch of people complain about it!! Just trying to rustle some feathers since I CANT WAIT to try them out on some venison this weekend!!!

I've posted on this subject on other threads. Personally, I have had two situations where rage 2 blades didn't open up on entry, nor pass through, leaving a only tiny entry hole. One buck recovered, one shot 3 weeks later during gun season by a neighbor (156" double drop tine!). I hope you all have better luck. Slick Tricks now tip my arrows.

the biggest problems i haave heard of so far is the blades hanging down when people are stalking. i did about a 1/2 mile spot and stalk today after the morning huntand didnt have an issue. my biggest trouble was the leafy suit getting caught on all of the barbs and brush;)

I've had the blades open up a few times when they weren't supposed to. But they worked when I needed them to.

I'm going back to the muzzy's this year, but I would have no problem sticking with the Rage if I had more of them.
