Bowtech Commander

Hey can anyone give me any insight on the Bowtech Commander. I will use it for deer out of a treestand and occasional grounblind hunting. I was looking into the Guardian but I found a great deal on a commander and would like your guys' opinion on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I have one, love mine. No issues with it in the year that I've had it. Very quiet and nice shooting bow. If you've got a good deal, grab it.

I second the fact that if you can get it for a deal.....GET IT!!!!! It is the best shooting bow that I have ever put my hands on in the last 12 years....Good luck and have fun with it!!!!

Thanks guys. No one has had a problem with the longer ATA in a stand or groundblind?

Guardian and Commander are both super bows. Personally I would prefer the Guardian because of the shorter A to A for hunting.

I pretty much agree with Dan, I have both and really like both. I purchased them last year and still have them! If you knew me,
that says a lot! Both are set up at 29" and 70-71 lbs. The commander is a little smoother on the draw. It woiuld depend on your
height and how the bow fits you too. If you have a tall blind, 80 inches or so, either would work, short blind, the guardian would
be a better bet.

It is very long, and not optimal for hunting. Looks like something circa Oneida Eagle 1989. But, if you get a deal, it shoots awesome.

37 ATA isnotlong.37 ATA was very short a few years ago before parallel limbsand the new styles came out. Don't believe the hype with the shorter bows as it is a marketing trend. In a few years everyone will need a longer bow for some reason.

I shoot a 37 ATA bow andthtink it definatley makes a difference in accuracy over a shorter bow.Now maybe in a blind the shorter bow makes a difference. I have no idea as I have never bow hunted in a man made blind.

Besides thestability advantage of the longer bows there isthe string angle and peep sight issues you can run intowhen you shoot a short bow.
