Click on the link for my review of the 2 blade version. I have tested both but like the 2 blade better.

i chose the 3 blade. the reason i didnt choose the 2is bc i thought what if i shoot this deer high and the blades hit and deploy completely horizontal. i could miss the vitals completely where having 3 blades i could at least clip the vitals with a blade. now to disagree with myself, if i were to make a well placed shot having a 2" cutting diameter is pretty much going to obliterate the vitals and there will be a short track/ethical kill. i think its all preference, i just like the idea of more cutting surface.
btw i will say for fact, (out of my bow) these bh are the best shooting i have ever shot. ive shot them at 50 and 60 yards all day long and they group exactly like my field tips. they shoot extremely well and for that reason i am very confident with my bh arrow setup for this deer season.
good luck
Derek

This is a little off the subject...but does anyone know how many pounds of pressure it takes to deploy the rage 2 and 3 blade heads? I have to 2 bladers and I think they shoot well and with the pics and comments I have seen on here from other guys I am looking forward to this upcoming season.

I've been wondering the same thing - have thought about just calling them and asking what they 'officially' recommend... A while back I posted a similar - got a couple of good responses....

I used the Rage two blade broadhead last year with my crossbow. It's a bottom of the line bow, 150# and shoots 260fps but at 30 yards I still got 100% penetration on a big doe with the Rage.

good points by everyone. it seems like either would be right, just all the preference of the shooter.
