Default paranoid

Hey guys i posted a question several days ago about whether to purchase a bear or a mission. i ended up getting the bear and it is shooting great. however when i was messing with my new toy i inoticed acouple of little chips in the finish, the chips are really only visible if you are looking for them. is it normal for a new bow to have little inperfections in the finish and i am just being paranoid or could i have been sold a used bow.The bow had all of the tags but was missing a cable slide when i took it off the rack.

Where did you purchase it from? A mass retailer or a pro shop? I would have been concerned when I took it off the rack and it already was missing a cable slide. Doesn't sound like a new bow to me, unless somehow it was treated rough by another customer and maybe broke the slide. I don't really know, but that's just my opinion.
