I have a set I use from time to time. They work well, are stable safe and secure. Your not going to get much over 12 to 14 feet off the ground unless you have long legs, but they work as well as any strap on step I have used.

If you're going to use them to pre-hang stands early and leave them be for a time... they're fine. They're heavy and extremely bulky and can be unwieldly. Definitely not the way to go on run-n-gunsetups, but as I said... when pre-hanging in advance of the season, they're especially stable, safe and secure.

I concur with 5 Shot and Greg. They are rather bulky to carry and I don't like how they stack. However they are very stable as they let you get a lot of foot on the step and you can put both feet at one level if you need to, unlike most sticks.
