That is pretty impressive testing.
Really shows the durability and in some cases the penetration... or lack of it.
Part of me says but deer are not encased in steel! The other part says that bit of footage on the pig showed that the lack of penetration on the drum translates well into lack of penetration in an animal!
Slick Tricks seem to hold up well!

Seems like the Piston Point was the only mechanical to make it out alive out of the one's that he tested. Makes me even happier I bought them for this year as my first foray into mechanicals.
That video of the Trufire confirms my thoughts that the shape of the tip would impede penetration even on game. Watching how poorly that head penetrated on the hog was a little disturbing.
