Rage Broadheads -- how to tighten!???
I hate to be such a noob, but...I only started bowhunting last year.
I tried the Montec G5 broadheads and wasn't that impressed by the flight of my arrows (Matthews Switchback XT, Carbon Express Maxima 350 arrows).
So this year I thought I'd try some mechanicals, namely the Rage two-blade.
However, how the heck are you supposed to tighten the broadheads down on the arrow? You can't use a regular broadhead hand-held vise like you can for the three and four-blade fixed broadheads. So, what are you supposed to do short of gluing them in? And that's not really an option if you ever have to replace one of those ever existing o-rings....you have to take the broadhead off the arrow to slip it on unless you remove all the blades and that seems rather tedious and time consuming.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...short of telling me to go back to hunting with a gun instead of playing with a bow!

Maybe your inserts are rusted or something. It really should not not be that hard to screw them in snug with your fingers. Try cranking in a field tip with WD-40 sprayed on it and then try the Rage.

They should screw in easy by hand , if they don't take one of your practice tips and put a drop of oil on it screw it in then take it out and screw your broadhead in hand tight.
