With a bad shoulder...I would go with a single cam in the 40-50 range...you will be getting 230 fps or better...imho, single cams have the smoothiest draws. I would also look for the highest let off I could find. I also would go with a light bow to keep pressure off your shoulders....something like Mathews dxt or any other light single cam. good luck on your purchase

I would usggest looking at thegeneral in 50lbs. it has a High brace hight, and is VERY easy to pull, especially with the smooth Modules in it. Plenty fast, No hand shock. If you can swing it, this would be the bow I would recommend.
Most of the other bows mentioned are very very nice. But they are also not very forgiving to shoot. This thing is a Sweetheart. Give it a whirl.

i started with a parker it was a nicesmooth drawing bowbut it depends on ur price range
