broad heads for whitetail
Shooting a PSE firestorm lite with 60 lb draw, shooting from a treestand about 20-25' high, been shooting muzzy 100 grain 3 blade broadheads.Taking a look at cabelas,I was thinking of either one of the american broadhead company 3 blade or the slick trick triton exit 4 blade.Any suggestions?

RE: broad heads for whitetail
[hr] The American broadheads I believe are only 7/8" in diameter or 1". Slicktricks are from 1 manufacture. A very good broadhead that is very tough. you can get them in 1" diameter or 1 1/8" diameter. I'd personally go with the bigger one. triton is a 3 blade from Wac'em. 1 1/32" for standard and 1 1/4" for XL model. Exit is a 4 blade from Wac'em. Have 6 of these that I'm giving to my dad since I have to try a new toy this year. 1 1/16" diameter. |

Ive heard good things about tricks, Im just not a fan of four bladers. I like the G5 strikers, Im trying the new tekans this year. Not a big fan of muzzy's blades are to thin and I had problems with the furrels bending.

Slick Trick 1'' standard fly good, from my paper tuned bow, and left a lot of blood on the ground.

Have you taken deer with them. Is there a problem? I have shot thunderheads for years with very good results.
