RE: grim reaper razor tips?
I use the 100gr razor tips, and they have performed well on deer, black bear, hog, etc.

RE: grim reaper razor tips?
they are great heads I switched to grim reaper a few years back and they are great. Fly just like field points, great penetration- to see more check out their webiste. I get great bllod trails, but you will not need to follow it since the buck will fall insight when you use them I use the 1 3/4 head try them out and you will not be sorry

Here is my review of the standard head, not the razortip. Same basic design though.

RE: grim reaper razor tips?
My friend has shot them for3 years and has had a problem with blood trails! I think that it may be shot placement but he seems to think not. So if you can shoot better than he can which shouldn't be hard they will probably be o.k..........

RE: grim reaper razor tips?
I'm switching to the GR's this year. I can tell you this much, they are a better design than the Wasp Jakhammers (with the same cut) etc...
You slam 1-3/4" of head through the boiler-room of a whitetail and be prepared to get messy tracking a buck! I've had bloodtrails that were 10 ft. wide. Most deer I shot with them never made it out of sight. I'm guessing from the video clips and much of the feedback I've heard about these heads, they will produce the same type of thing. SHOT PLACEMENT IS EVERYTHING! |
RE: grim reaper razor tips?
