G5 optic sight
 

Thinking about getting the new 4 pin G5 with the floating pin. Any one have any positive or negative comments. A friend said the floating pincausea lot of extranoise. Any truth to that.

I don't know about the floating pin.I have an Optix LE thats a good sight

The floating pin is great and makes zero noise at all. I've been shooting my ME since early last year and shoot a few days a week and have not had any noise from it.

The great part about the floating pin is it allows you to practice past 50 yds without needing additional pins. I'd get the .019" pins.

If you do get one and run into an issue with pin noise PM me. They've supposedly fixed the issues with the XR models. There is a cheap fix for this if they haven't.

I have the G5 SE 3 pin. I can't speak for the floating pin, but I am very impressed with the design of their sights. Very durable and easy to adjust. I love mine.
