They are very good indeed. I have used the magnums for a couple years now. I wouldn't say they are the best thing since sliced bread, but they are very good broadheads- tough, sharp, fly like field points (in my bow) and cause a lot of damage. They also penetrate very well. Not a whole lot to dis-like IMO...

Are they that good, Yes. They won't fix all your problems and kill like magic, but if you do your part they will do an excellent job on game. They also tend to fly more like field points than most other full size fixed blade heads.

I use slicks and love them. I really don't see myself using anything else. I've been through Muzzy's to Rocky Mountain to Wasps to Slicks and everything else in between.

What you must understand is that many of the broadheads on the market will fly just like your field tips as long as YOUR BOW IS PROPERLY TUNED!

Don't judge a broadhead by mearly screwing it on and going to the range.
