RE: Arrows

I shoot CX max hunter 350's.I have broke a couple already due to hitting a tree. The arrow does not take side loading upon impact well.My CX edge hunters 350's(buff tuff entire length)are nearly indestructible.Themaxima hunterstend to break in the painted logo area between bufftuff seam and standard crossweave seam.I have yet to see one break taking an animal.I have always had devastating bone penetration with no problems with the maximas.

RE: Arrows

I am with big bulls the cx term selects are the toughest arrows I have shot. The term select lites seem to be about the same arrow and since the term/selects are no longer avalible that would be my first choice for strength at a reasonable price.

RE: Arrows

Wow, I am surprised no one threw in the Easton Full Metal Jackets. I started shooting them last year, and guys they are an extremely tough arrow. I was really impressed with them, last season as I shot six deer at a wide variety of distances and angles and all my shots were pass thru's. And the arrows all buried into the ground. These arrows deserve a look from some of you who may be looking into new arrows, but along with toughness comes a little weight, I know they are not the lightest arrows out there.

You're gonna be hard pressed to find a toughed arrow than the new CX Aramid Kv shafts with their new Kevlar layer! I'm playing with some now and they seen to be excellent arrows, time will tell. Of course the only thing killer about them intially is the price.... $200 a dozen... OOUUCH!!! :(
