Diamond Black Ice???
 

Has anyone here had any experience with the Diamond Black Ice?? I am wanting to buy one, but since they retail at $699 its got me a little iffy lol. I love the way the bow looks, but I have yet to shoot one...so can anyone help me out?? Thanks

They are a really nice bow. I have one but I think I am going to sell it ( have a Guardian also). It's quiet and has very little hand shock. In my opinion it is the best single cam on the market.I would suggest to go shoot one yourself and find out.

They are a real nice bow, but whether it is the bow for you is something you just have to try and find out. The looks of a bow have absolutely nothing to do with how that bow will perform in your hands. If you can't find one to take out for an extended test drive, you might consider keeping an eye on e-bay or the Archery Talk classifieds - should be able to get one of these bows for $400 or less. And then, if you don't like it, put it back up for sale for close to the same priceit was purchased.

Have you given any thought to the Bowtech Equalizer? If you have a 25 or 26 inch draw length, this bow is built from the ground up to give maximum performance and efficiency at the shorter draw lengths.

I have one and like it very much. I shot a Mathews DXT the other day and really didn't feel that bow was any smoother. The Black Ice is a great bow, there are faster bows out there but I like the Black Ice right now.

I went and looked at the equalizer, and I like that one alot. This weekend I am going around to a few shops and shoot a couple bows and hopefully get a new one. Thanks for the suggestion!

I like mine. It is not a speed deamon but it shoots consistantly out to 40 yards. The going price for a new Black Ice is actually $649. The Marquis is the one that goes for $699. I would agree with the equalizer for you, JMO!

If you check AT a few guys sell them new for 549 and below .

I don't know if they have any left, but I picked up an '07 Ice (with '08 limbs) from Mountain Archery for $450... It is a joy to shoot.

Amazing bow. I can assure you, you will be happy. I also own a Mathews Drenalin and have shot maybe 25 arrows through it. BLACK ICE IS GREAT.

I shoot my Black Ice most the time and it great! Since my son has taken over the Victory! It or the Extreme will be my primary baw this year till I restring the Victory.The B/I is smooth pulling for me!

It is a matter of personal preference but for that much gold I would really try several bows.
I made that mistake and bought the a Bow allot of people recommended than started trying out others including the Diamond and ended up with a Bowtech Guardian and love it. To me $600 to $800 for a bow is allot of money to be spending on a bow without trying out several even if the money is burning a hole in your pocket. Recommend that you take your time and try as many Bows as you can before making a final decision.

I turkey hunted with a Black Ice last year. Good speed, very smooth, as well as forgiving. It also has a nice grip.

There's not much not to like about the Black Ice!

I never got to test other bows when I started looking at them,bought a Bowtech,then a Diamond...started with a great product and found no need personally to test drive others.Love shooting the B/I,but still stretch the legs of the others regularly!;)

I love mine, it is so smooth that I am going to switch from 60 lb limbs to 70lbs. Try a bunch and then decide what you like.

my uncle just bought one this year and he hates it...its coasting him to much money to buy more arrows after robin hooding them;)

hi there...take a peek at the nitrous...great bow...its also costs less...i shot the black ice, the marquis, the guardian,and the hoyt katera and chose the nitrous..there is a great package deal going on at mountain archery on the nitrous

i shot one before buying my rock, its a nice bow, but was a little out of my price range, try the rock u won't be dissapointed, i love mine

I love my Diamond Black Ice but I did spend an extra 250 bucks silencing it. Now it is a stealth as a Ninja!

I love mine! But for a bare bow that is too much money. look around you could find a better deal!
