I sharpen all my broadheads no matter what they look like when I take them out of the package! To answer your question, yes I sharpen my Slick Tricks when I get them, no reason NOT to!:)
Unless, of course, one is sharpening challenged! ;)

I have used them all except for the 85 grain head, and my wife uses it. My Favorite is probably the 125 grain Magnum. A little better FOC and the thing is tough as a Tank.

I am planning on trying the new Grizz Trick this year. It should be an Awesome head as well.

Thanks for the advise MeanV2, I have been hunting with steelforce sabertooth series 100 grain for a few years.... Got a new bow last year, Bear Truth, and they fly as good with the bear as they did with my Matthew's.. So going to have to make a change this year. Really looking hard at the slick tricks.. Thanks

Why touch something that is THAT sharp? The old ST's used to need sharpening, they were pretty dull. The newer STs (I also got mine from Mean V) are just "sick." If you try them out, the hair pretty much jumps off your skin. I have never been able to make any type of blade sharper than they already come. JMHO

The new slick tricks come out of the package sharp enough to shave with and the blades are plenty strong. No need to sharpen them.

The Slick Tricks I've tried are extremely sharp right out of the package. In fact, some of the blades will still shave hair after being shot into a broadhead target several times. The factory edge left an easy to follow trail last fall.

Entry hole from a 125 gr. ST standard.
