Atom Broadheads????

Im just realy getting back in to the sport after several years off. I saw some "new" Broadheads the other day and was wondering if anyone has tried them. I think they are made by Arrow Dynamics or something like that. They have titainium wires on them instead of blades. i found their site and checked them out but, they arnt gonna say if they suck or not....whatch ya ll think????

Never used 'em. Never handled 'em.

My take on them is that I don't see any real advantage. (Sure, less planing...but how many thousands of us can get that resolved with wires-for-blades.)

I can think of a few downsides but that one that I heard (which made sense to me and was the final straw) was that someone, somewhere said that the blades "smash in" or "lay down" when inside the animal some. So your cutting diameter just went from big to very small.

Also, no resharpening those things. (Not important to some...but I'm poor and if I can buy a reusable broadhead to be better believe I will!)

That's all very subjective "feelings" on them.
I'd too would like to hear from someone who's actually put them through a deer.

Oh those[:'(]. I don't like em. my first impression is that the blades will break when in contact with an animal or "fold" flat and not do any cutting.
